The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially launched the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Diaspora Tour, a global celebration honouring the spirit and influence of African football.
More than a promotional tour, the initiative aims to spotlight the deep cultural connection between Africa and its global diaspora. The tour began with a vibrant event at Below the Lights, Piccadilly Circus in London on 28 November, and will continue with a showcase at YOYO, Palais de Tokyo in Paris on 4 December.
CAF says the tour serves as a symbolic bridge linking the continent that produces football legends with the diaspora communities that continue to celebrate and support them across the world. It is a tribute to shared identity, heritage, and pride — where the pulse of African football resonates far beyond its borders.
The events honour not only the iconic African players who have risen to prominence on European soil but also the powerful bond between Africa and its global fans. At the centre of the tour is the prestigious TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations trophy, whose journey to London and Paris reflects that the ultimate prize in African football belongs to Africans everywhere — from Casablanca to Paris, Lagos to London, and across the global African community.
CAF describes the tour as the moment “where heritage meets legacy” as the countdown to AFCON Morocco 2025 officially begins.
